Blue Tongue Films!
Besides have the coolest logo introduction in the universe, they've got serious juice and not just where they hail from: Australia. One of their founding members is a favorite of mine: Joel Edgerton - a real journeyman of an actor. He'd played everything from a hebephile serial killer to Sir Gawain of King Arthur's court.
He became popular on this side of the pond recently b/c of Warrior and The Thing. But he was also in Animal Kingdom and starred and co-wrote The Square. Both these films are considered indie flicks and they are some of the best neo-noir movies I've seen since Blood Simple.
It looks like Blue Tongue Films is at it again with Wish You Were Here. Here's the trailer!
Makes me want to go swimming in the Pacific and then run screaming back to Seattle!
