It's actually going well. In the Company of Wolves has gotten through some major drastic changes since November mainly due to faulty science. So, I to scrap the ending and rewrite the entire thing. Anyway, I'm on target for my bi-weekly post on this one.
Garlic and Butter is also going through a major heave-ho. I've cut out Jensen's side of the story simply because of time constraint. And, there's the little fact that if his story gets told, it's less like Ratatouille and more like From Here to Eternity! I want to keep it as light-hearted as possible. So far, Jensen got accidentally locked into cold storage and Jared's having conniptions because there's no supply entrance to his restaurant. Then there's a whole 'my entire wait staff are ninjas' thing that Jared's beginning to realize.
The most complicated writing comes from the cooking scenes. It's taken thousands of words to prepare one course in the story, so I'm going to have to do some serious cutting. After all, this is a story about J2, not how to make pulled short ribs with corn souffle...
