July was dedicated to traveling, fixing a broken air conditioner, and the rice maker. It was the last one that made me crazy.
Then the Olympics happened, and my loathing for NBC tripled. To add insult to injury NBC crapped all over the Closing Ceremonies and my hatred quadrupled.
So, recovering from traveling to Oklahoma and Chicago - my God that was HOT. So friggin' hot. Boil-the-bone hot. We're never traveling outside Washington during the summer again. Okay, maybe to Hawaii but that's it.
I am slowly but surely compiling a rec list of the Avengers fanfic over at AO3. It's only fair since I've been inhaling the stories for the last two months.
Anyway, still alive, still chugging. Looking at future writing challenges...
