I loved the Dragon Tattoo Trilogy, and the Swedish films were great. When I heard there was going to be an American remake my eyes rolled so hard, I gave myself a headache. Then I heard Fincher was going to direct and I thought, "Hmm ... okay, this dude made Zodiac and that was pretty friggin' good."

Here is the redband trailer, and I believe it looks like a handheld shot b/c Sony wanted it to go viral that way. Pretty marketing savvy move there!
