So, I'm thinking about joining for [livejournal.com profile] fringebigbang. Their stuff's due in October, which leaves me big enough gap to finish off for [livejournal.com profile] spn_j2_bigbang for the summer.

Afterwards, I will work on my original novel for NaNoWriMo. I had to stop working on my writing few years back due to ... well, due to cataclysmic health problems. However, in the last eighteen months my health has improved well enough for me to start planning for the future. And, few of the oldtimers know I've been trying to publish for a while.

The one thing I can honestly recommend for any future writers? NEVER. STOP. WRITING.

Even if it's all bullshit, just don't stop. One of the reasons why I'm so prolific in SPN fandom. The biggest problem for most writers is not that the well of ideas dry up: it's that we get tired of the journey there, putting in the bucket, pulling up the bucket, then lugging it all the way back to the keyboard.
Still decompressing from USA vs. Canada Hockey Game of Eternity.

That and writing a story for this prompt by [livejournal.com profile] wendy. 3K and growing. Rapidly.

Also, congrads to a certain Sasquatch who managed to nab a very pretty and vivacious girl. From the single wedding photo, the affair seems to have gone smoothly.

Of course, I haven't seen any pictures of the groom dancing...
Okay, so It's Only A Paper Moon is finally done. Of course it's about two months later than I'd thought but hey, it's finished!

Now, onto two Halloween challenges. The first is for a Jane Austen fandom where the only requirement is that I drown Darcy. In that %(#)%*&# pond. I'm torn between using an anchor chain or have the Great Cthulhu rise from its watery depths and eat the Master of Pemberley out of sheer vexation. Hey, if Pride and Prejudice and Zombies is possible, then Lovecrafting the goddamn thing can't be that hard.

The second one is going to be a blast. It's for [livejournal.com profile] spn_halloween. I'm going to enlist Mike Rowe and his crew from Dirty Jobs and toss them into Stephen King's favorite haunt: Derry, Maine. And then add the Winchesters. This practically writes itself. Camera angles included.
Few intrepid souls on my f-list are doing the NANOWRIMO (still have to get that one memorized), so guess what I'll be doing in November? Heh, at least this way I am guaranteed to cross the finish line for [livejournal.com profile] vitamin_fic!

I don't know if I'll be doing a filter or whatnot, but if this LJ is suddenly overrun with posts regarding this venture, I'll probably create one.

I'm frostian over there, so drop by and friend me and we can commiserate together.
